Local EB games and GameStop's Shipping mix up

Wow yesterday was an exciting day to be buying 360 games here in South Portland , Maine. Our local EB games and Gamestop did not recieve their shipments of Gears of War and only recieved 20 copies of Call of Duty 3.

With over 20 people waiting in the rain at the front doot for Gamestop to open at 10:00am yesterday, we were all very excited when the UPS truck pulled up. The store manager lets us all inside and assigned us numbers and we formed a line waiting to get our copies of GOW. We watched like little kids on Christmas moring as he opened each of the 4 boxes. As 1 box after the other was opened we became less excited and more concerned, 1st box all tony hawk, 2nd box more tony hawk, 3rd box all COD3 , 4th box some socom game and no GOW.

The mamager went outside and asked the UPS guy if there were anymore boxes and he was told another truck should be there any minute.

Phew!!! we all said. lol

The second UPS truck arrived 5 minutes later and again there were several boxes all different sizes. All the boxes were opened and still no GOW. What!

"I guess they must be coming by fed -x" the store manager said.

So we waited, 10 minutes, 20 miutes, 30 minutes 40 minutes. Finally I said, there must be a tracking number you can check on to find out where these games are. Just then the manager recieved a call from another store ,telling him of a rumor that the plane the games were coming in on was delayed. So he indeed did make the call to track the package. It turns out there was some kind of a mix up and the package was sitting at an airport in Memphis Tenn. ,and they would not be getting them until the 9th. Ouch!

I figured oh well what's one more day. So I went off to best buy to pick up COD3 and figured I'd spend the day playing that.

So I get to Best Buy and they had not recieved their shipment yet and I was told to come back around noon time. So I came home and had a quick lunch, and headed back to BB.

Went I got there COD3 Had arrived so I grabbed a copy, just then a guy who was also at Gamestop earlier told mt that Gears of War was in and just around the corner at a GOW display. Be still my Heart! I put COD 3 back and went to grab GOW, guess what, all gone, oh well no big deal. I went back over to grab COD 3 again and the sales guy came over with about 20 copies of GOW in his arms, I quickly grabbed one and promptly used the gift card to purchase it. Woo Hoo. I then went back to Gamestop and canceled my pre order on GOW and gat a full refund, Then because I had canceled my pre order of COD 3 they could not sell me one becasue they only recieved 20 of their 200 copies, so back to Best Buy I went and paid cash for COD3.

A bit of a confusing day but I ended up with both games and both are just excellent so far.

Can you get the Insane achievements in co-op? From what I've heard, flanking is useful on insane and, apparently, your AI teammates "ain't nott two much smart".

Yeah I got 5 bucks of each game because they didn't get in until today.

I thought it was funny they give you $5 on a $60 game($70 for me). It's like giving you 8.3% off

Flanking is useful on any difficulty. I already got an achievement on Insane Co-op so Yes, you get them.

If you dont flank on the last few guys in any given area, you'll just waste ammo and time. You lank, the other shoots to keep said enemies occupied, you get behind and press B

I dont know which one at my GS was a bigger dumbass... the one with little nuts or the one without any..... And from the looks of both... I wouldnt assign a gender to either one right away
