missed the free game eh

it seems that the free game (undertow apparently) was given to us last week, I seemed to have missed the free download, bummer. Pretty dumb of them to offer the game free, put up almost no notice about it, and you only have about 3 or 4 days to download it.

is the game that fun? I played the demo, but a lot of times the demo just pumps you up to unlockthe full game, then you get sick of the full game a lot more quickly than you thought you would.

i think they did it pretty wrong, but ya know, if i hadnt been a member of PGL i probably wouldnt have known anything, they could have at least emailed everybody, they have everybodys email

They actually gave notice about the free game towards the beginning of January. They also gave just under a week's notice what game and when it would become available for free. Apparentely you just don't frequent those news outlets. But yes, there was no email or XBL message about it.

Is the game that fun? Not really. At least not the single player campaign. I don't think it's worth $10. I haven't had the opportunity to play the multiplayer portion. It's really just a side shooter. Nothing note worthy, or unique. Story is a bit lame, and told in a way that you kind of get lost with it. The graphics are solid, and won't be harsh on the eyes.

Honestly, if the demo did jump at you, playing the full version would be the same. So basically, you didn't miss much.

You could also try phoning the X-Box line to see if they are willing to set you up with it.

I'm not that crazy about missing out on it, just I would of enjoyed getting something out of the hell of no xbox connevtivity for a month, I'm big on playing multiplayer games. Just they have so many ways even on xbox itself to tell you about it, they have all sorts ofother "news" and things that popup on the dashboard, just it's never anything that you might actually want to read, just things paid for by advertisers.

ok so I was somewhat out of the loop by a lot apparently. A little news and updates thing on the main screen of the dashboard wouldnt be a bad idea! and who checks the marketplace blade every single day? that's crazy.

I mean the least they could of done I think is to have left me a text message if they didn't want to call

I think it was on the front page a couple of times. That's where I saw it and clicked on it.

I think I have 1 or 2 codes for the game. Perhaps we can have an undertow challenge or something or I can include it in one of the upcoming PGL Raffles.

Dont feel Bad Mr.Sako, i also missed this, and its not like me to miss a Free Shooter game. OH WELLS, its better to get an invitation for COD4, Gow, Halo3, KUF:COD, Catan (Yeah like this is played anymore)

would of been nice to have this though, i wanted to give it a try, but ive been getting home from work later and later. Thank goodness i didn't miss Carcassone!
