Join Date: Sep 2006 Location: Left Coast | Can't Download I have been trying to DL content from XBL and I keep getting a message saying that I can't.
Tech support has proven to be useless. I have spent an hour redoing all of the the things that I did before I called them:
Family settings, reseting my router, and modem, nat settings...arrgghhhhhhh.
I kept trying to explain that I had done all of this and one guy even hung up on me....
So anyway after an hour of following this guy's script which included him telling me that I used a non-supported ISP...which has not changed in the past 2 days...
I have now been "escalated to microsoft..."
Has anyone had this issue with downloads?
The only thing that I can think of that I changed was that I used a 1 month free gold membership card. I tried reverting to my credit card, but that didn't work either. | |

Join Date: Sep 2006 Location: Ohio | How you connect to Live shouldnt matter for downloads. All that matters is logging in, by doing so shows that youre connected and ready to go.
If there was a problem with your isp or changing credit cards, you wouldnt be able to log in at all, atleast thats my thinking on the matter.
I've never heard of such a problem, let us know how it works out. | |

It looks like I can DL now after several days of not being able to. The lock logo is still next the DL titles but at least everything seems to be working. | |
