Lets get some folks and play tonight. Anyone know how big a party you can have, from the description, it sounds like it's multiplayer. I'll grab it when I get home and we'll crash the shit out of each other.

Dangitdaggnabbit. I won't be around tonight. It's date night, a rare commodity here. Babysitting, shopping, dinner, a play, the whole nine yards. But I'll still get it downloaded. Maybe we can take an hour out of FNFF early and try it?

The demo has a max of 4. Someone mentioned on another site that they were going to increase that in a few days or something.. no idea if it's true or not.

I played it a bit this aft. I like the open environment, similar to TDU but I couldn't find much to do. Only a race and a stunt run, the stunt run is rather bland. I hope there is some crash mode somewhere as that is what made the previous games in the Burnout series awesome. No crash mode in the full version means a great disappointment and a no buy for me.

I'm just the opposite, I never like the burnout games because it seemed all they were about was crashing. I'm more into racing. A friend and I meesed around with the demo for a couple hours and we could not figure out how to get a race going. All we could figure out was stunts and stuff. The game does look good and the car sounds sweet. It's a ton of fun flying off the roof of the parking garages!!!!

I don't think they'll make a Burnout game without the Road Rage option. This is the only "racing" game I'll play. The crashes are what make it so fun.

I can't wait to check it out tonight.

Burnout's always been about crashing, racing is just a side product of crashing in this game. I can't wait to try out the demo. I should be around tonight.

I know there will be a crash mode in the final version, though I think that it is going to be handled different. Instead of going to a crash location, you just hit two buttons (both bumpers I think) and begin your crash. It sounds a lot like the Insurance Fraud in Saint's Row, except you can do it wherever you want.

I'm more of a need for speed person myself, all of the challenges in burnout seem to just be "hey get from point A to point B in x amount of time" and the game revolves around you practicing getting from point A to point B in time. it's basically just a bunch of time trial races instead of actual races. This wouldn't be so bad, as it might be more exciting once you learn your way around the city, but the game seems to be targeted to rewards HDTV folks, and the mini map is not really readable to me.

I haven't got to try the multiplayer yet, but it might be pretty cool with other players.

also to start a challenge you gotta stop at a intersection which is a starting point for a race, and hold the left and right triggers at the same time.

Played around with it for a few nights and I have to say, it feels just like the previous Burnouts, which is a very, very good thing for me. I like the added "openness" of the city though, although every time I get on a nice run, I crash into a closed road opening in 2008. Damnit!

The crashes feel just like they used, and the sense of speed is ramped up from Burnout Revenge it seems. This is going to be a sure buy for me. Oh, and don't bother stopping at the intersections, you can usually cruise through pressing both L&R Trigger and still start the event.

The multiplayer is definitely more integrated into Paradise, and I'm really excited to see the extent of it in the full retail version. I'm down for this one!
