So before we fired up the SuperBowl on Sunday my son and I decide to play some Wii Sports. I was pretty excited because I don't get to play the Wii that often and its always fun to watch my son crack up while playing the games. He chose Wii sports and we fired it up.
He had controller 1 so was choosing what we were going to play. For our first bout he chose Wii Bowling. I thought I would have to "let him win" or "catch up" or whatnot, but turns out he was completely owning me! He would whip the ball down the lane and crank out strike after strike! I tried emulating his throws, but my dang bowling ball would be all over the place on the lane. So first game ends with this:

Yeah, he spanked me. Back in the days when I used to bowl, my average was in the mid 200's so this was a bit embarrassing. So I demanded a rematch!
Yes, he beat me again, but not by as much and at least I set a record for myself!
So I figured a final match would have me in the lead. Round three:
I like to call this round splitsville. I think I had a split on every other dang frame! Needless to say he smoked me again! My ego could take no more so I demanded a different game.
My son chose golf. We played a 3 hole bout.
My son chipped in a shot on the 1st hole for a birdie and I parred. The shot of his was awesome and I was very scared that I was going to be beat again! I parred the second hole and my son triple bogied. I parred out and beat him, finally!!!
Not to be outdone my son chose Baseball next. I was riding high from my golf win and ready to take him down a notch or two. After our first 3 games my son was talking loads of smack (it was probably the funniest things I have ever heard from him!). I had to teach him a lesson!
Yeah, he beat me again! From there I was demoralized and beat down. My son was loading up on the smack talk and was cracking me up! We ended up playing a few rounds of tennis and we traded a few wins. All in all it was a great time and we both had fun. But when he goes to bed tonight, I'm totally practicing bowling so I can beat him next time!!!
