Super Paper Mario Help

Last night I finally got into this great game. All the dialogue kind of sucks, but some of it is funny. Anyway, I am stuck fighting the dragon boss creature. I think this may be the big boss for level one. The game says I have to use my grab/throw fairy thing and hit his antenna. I tried like 50 times to use that ability when the dragon was coming down on to me from above, but I never say anything happen.

Can someone clue me into what I need to do? Thanks!

Spoiler free. I don't think it takes 50 times but after a few attempts Pixl should say that your attack is not working. I also tried lots of other attacks bombing etc. Anyways after a couple of failed attempts the dragon will fly a different path and than you can use your different abilities from there.

Um, feel free to spoil! I still have no clue on how to hurt this dragon. On which path do I use what ability? I have no clue, sorry. :-(

When he starts to come at you from the side you need to switch to 3d view to be able to jump on his back. Once you figure that trick out it's smooth sailing.

I kept trying to stop playing last night, but kept getting pulled back in. I think I said "Oh, just one more level" until I got stuck. Which was a good thing!

I think I also need to stock up on some healing stuff as well from the store. I think I played the last few rounds with just a few life points, and the warning sound gets annoying. :-)

No help needed this time, just wanted to chime in and say how much fun this game is. I played this game all weekend and it is great fun. I'm on chapter three now.

The story is still wordy, but I have gotten real good at just hitting the ok button fast. Although this did catch me one time where someone gave me a clue about the mission, which I missed. But when I started to do the wrong thing, a "vision" popped up reminding me what I was told.
