Aside from its inability to pass on 1080i/p signals, we likely have all had some issues with setting up or using our Wiis. Issues such as where to place the sensor bar or how to set up the wireless internet have likely been faced by many others.
We are interested in learning what problems you have had with your Wii so that we can try to solve them and then compile the solutions into neat packages for people who might have similar issues.
Think back to when you were first setting up your Wii. Did you remember to choose in the settings whether you had placed the sensor bar above or below your TV? Did you find it easy to set up your network connection? Were you easily able to add other Wii's to your address book?
I put these questions up not to limit the issues we all have had, but to get you thinking about problems or issues that you have experienced in the past relating to your Wii.
If you had a problem and were able to correct the issue, how did you fix it?
Even if you were not able to fix the issue, post the problem you had anyway. Someone here might have an answer or a fix for you.
The issues you post may be simple or complex. Please do not limit them simply because you think you might look dumb. For example, when I installed my Wii I didn't take into account the fact that I would need to split the cable. The video went to my TV, but the audio needed to go to my receiver. I ended up having to buy connectors at Radio Shack and an audio cable to finish the install. My family loved the TV all askew while they waited for me to run to the store
There are many issues that some of us have experienced that we now take for granted that are very new to others. Think back to when you were first setting up your Wii , did you face any problems? What information would you have liked to have known then that you know now?
So please start brainstorming!!
