It's like "Wee" but the question is "why" did they change it from "Revolution"? And why no HD graphics?

Because most of the world doesn't have HD! Jeesh! Its a calculated move by Nintendo that I think will payoff. Most people don't have the disposable income alot of us seem to have (just walk around Walmart you'll see what I mean) I know when I was a kid my dad would have slapped me upside the head for even asking for a $600 console. Don't forget guys were the minority. Not being HD don't mean the graphics will blow they just won't have that sharp, plastic look that we're starting to expect. end of rant!!!!!!

Yep, its whhheeeeeeee! I thought Revolution was cool, but Wii has certainly spawned alot of off names for things - the WiiMote, tha wii little bunny rabbit, the wed wiing of death... oops, wrong console!

I don't really mind the name, I think it sounds kind of cool.

The Xbox 360 has a stupid name, but most just call it 360. I think if they stuck with Revolution, people would have just called it Rev.

I think the name will pay-off for Nintendo. It's got the cute factor, and it's got the "different" factor, which is always good.

you're probably right Wonder.. yes Xbox 360 was kind of lame when I first heard it. But, then you could just go unoriginal and say PS THRiii

I was just going to say... Xbox 360 sounded so dumb when I first heard it, but now it works pretty well. Rev. would have been too confusing. People would think Nintendo was a church or something. "Rev. Nintendo said a great sermon today."
