Zelda on Component
Alright, do I need to do any special button presses like with the cube to enable progressive scan on these games? Will I still need to playing cube games? Iset the console to 480p but want to make sure.

All you have to do is set the console itself. Once that's done, it should automatically do it for you. No need to press buttons and junk.

thanks, I always hated that on the cube!
Wiz - on the Gamecube if you wanted to run progressive on games that supported it you had to hold a button down on the controller at boot up.

huh, I usually just come home from work and my son would already be playing. I'd sit with him and give pointers but the lack of 480p never entered my mind. Thats good gameing in my book

I totally agree. The Wii is simply fun.

I'll take the GCN compenont cable if someone wants to part with it, since I'm still gaming on my GCN. I just never played that much on my HDTV with it because I just didn't game in that room. With the 360, I do now.

Learn something new everyday! My GCN never got much love from me though...only RE games and MGS-Twin Snakes.

I'm with you, the only games I even own for my GC are: RE4, MGS:TS, RE0, Metroid Prime 1+2, TLoZ:The Wind Waker, Mario Sunshine and Animal Crossing. RE4 was more than enough of an excuse to get a cube, that game is classic.

Yeah, I still want to play through RE4 again. I wanted to try RE0 and Metroid Prime 2. I play through almost all of MP1 but, just kind of stopped for one reason or another. Still a good game, but I did not like Wind Waker. The Cel-da did not work for me. I played a few hours of it, then it sat on my shelf and collected dust until I finally sold it back.
I still have Sonic Heroes (mostly for my wife), Super Smash Bros Melee, Mario Kart: Double Dash, and Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time/Master Quest.
