component cable question

I am thinking about buying the cables from Nintendo's website because they are onyl 29.95. My question is, do the right and left audio cables seperate from the video ones as I need to run them to two different places on my rack.

Anyone have these? I just don't want to spend 49.95 at gamestop.

I bought mine from a buy on ebay for $10 and they don't break out. I had to buy adapters at radio shack and use a separate stereo cable to get to the receiver.

The Nintendo cables are the same. They dont break out until the end. Thus, you will have to add cable to extend them to your receiver. I still have my audio coming from my TV as I have not found the time to fix this.

The RCA adapters are Radio Shack were pretty cheap: <$5 I think.

yeah, they don't break out until closer to the end so you will have to get an extender, but that's no biggie.

Anyway, a slight side note, it's nice this time around that Nintendo actually decided to give it an official 'packaging box' as opposed to just giving you a ziplock bag. The component cables that you had to buy for the Gamecube can just in a ziplock back, which was packaged in a regular brown shipping box but, that was it.

Crankbait the MadCatz cables are only 20 bucks and they work really well. Like the Nintendo cables they don't seperate, but for a total 25 bucks you can't go wrong.

Thnaks BMC, I decided to get the ones from PlayAsia for 13.sumthin shipped. There were some good reviews for em though there has been third party cable issues when running some VC titles.

Hell, 9.99 is much cheaper than $50 from Gamestop.
