January promises to be a good month for the Japanese Virtual Console. Big titles among those announced include Mario Kart 64 and Zelda 2: The Adventure of Link. Known games so far are:

Hopefully we too will see the best of these on our side of the world, sooner rather than later.

Man, I really loved Mario Kart 64 back in the day. 4 player splitscreen racing rocked. Bring it to the US VC, Nintendo!

Yeah, I recall playing something similar when I was younger. I hope some of these see stateside release. It certainly wouldn't bother anyone/hurt sales.

haha, I love those eggplant guys. I can still "hear" the music from the levels. One day maybe we'll actually get a sequel to Kid Icarus.

I agree, Mario Kart 64 was awesome. I loved the Mario Kart on Super Nintendo also. I used to play time trials for hours with my buddies and we racked up some pretty unrealistic times. I had the little hop and skid perfected lol.
