How many plan on picking the Wii up tomorrow?

Just curious who's planning on picking one up and whether they plan on keeping it or trying to sell it. It has me intrigued...I don't think I'll buy one right away, but down the road maybe.

I'm gonna try to get one tomorrow and I plan on keeping it. I'm gonna get Zelda, Excite Truck, and probably Rayman.

Unfortunately, I gave up on Nintendo a LONG time ago. I have no interest in picking this up. I enjoy my 360 too much to switch systems.

Just left work, there were 20 or so people outside waiting to get their tickets, we got 13 Wiis in lastnight. Thats more than 6 times the amount of ps3s that we got, so the rumors were not rumors after all, Nintendo definitely has a LOT of systems set for retail. For kmart to get 5 of anything is huge news, 13 is unheard of

okay, against my better judgment last night, I decided to check out my local Target to see how many people were lined up at 12:30 at night. I figured I'd just check, since I was planning on going to that one to wait in line maybe at like 4 or 5 in the morning. Well sure enough... there were roughly like 120 people there already. I asked a few of the people waiting in line to see how many they got in stock. They all said about 200-210 units.

So, I waited in line. Met a few nice people who shared blankets with me and such. Chatted, hung out.... and overall, did what I vowed never to do again: camp out for another console.

Well, long story short, they ended up having 200 units exactly. I was number 124 in line and picked that up, along with another Wii Remote, Nunchuck, Classic Controller, Zelda and Monkeyball!

Not too shabby!

I won't have impressions on it until later tonight or tomorrow. I am dead tired... I haven't stayed up all night in a lonnggggggggggggggg time!

just FYI, the local Best Buy pnly got about 50, CC got like 25, Gamestop only got 20.... So it's amazing that Target got 200!

Go Nintendo! I hope they do as good in japan, thats where the change is needed most! A new regime is needed over there..badly!

im definitely getting it for myself, a buddy of mine who works for nintendo was showing his off last night, damn its good. frankly so innovative that its gonna leave the ps3 in the dust if the games come out designed for it.

By the way, does the Wii HAVE TO stand up? Won't fit in my Equipment rack if it's horizontally challenged.

no, absolutely not! It works horizontally or vertically. It's a rectangle although putting it on it's side it has a silver platic base to make it more of a trapezoid shape overall.

But, yes horizontal works just fine with the Wii!
