Lions Going 3-0 This Weekend...

I am a long suffering, bad team fan. I am from Cleveland, OH, but have lived most of my life north of Detroit.

So I have the privilege of being a Indian/Tiger, Lion/Brown (pre-Ravens move), Piston/Cav fan. Only Ohio State in CFB.

Its been the toughest being a die hard Leos fan. This weekend though, the Lions will get some real national recognition for how good this offense can be.

With a hurting Westbrook, an off kilter McNabb and a damaged Defense, I just don't see Philly being able to beat Detroit.

Of course, now that I have made my opinion more public than a group of Co-Workers, here comes the loss.

Also, I'm looking forward to K. Jones' return to the starting lineup as I have him in a Fantasy Football league. Let me know how he looks... I may need to start him soon.

My 'boys are taking on Crankbait's Bears on Sunday night... it'll be interesting to see good offense (Cowboys) vs. good defense (Bears), and at the same time mistake-prone, flaky offense (Bears) vs. mistake-prone, flaky defense (Cowboys)!

Good call Quo! I'm glad Kitna has a starting job again. I really like the guy. He had a lot to do with how CP turned out, I'm sure of it.

My wife is from MI so we watch alot of MI teams. Aside from UM stinking it up this year I'm hoping the Lions finally have a decent (i.e. at least a winning) season this year!

Well, the Loins went belly up on me, but the 'boys came through with a huge win over da Bears. And two other great things happened to help out the Cowboys:

1. The Redskins lost to the Giants, further muddling the picture in the East and putting the 'boys on top of the division.
2. The Browns lost to the Raiders, moving the Cowboys I step closer to the #1 pick (or at least a top five pick) in next year's draft!

Hella yes! I was talking to a friend of mine here in town about our Cowboys and we both said we should get all of our Cowboys friends together for the next prime time game. I told him I almost did it for the Cowboys-Bears game but I wasn't 100% sure of them yet. Heck, the last time we got together was the Cowboys-Panthers playoff game a few years ago, featuring Quincy Carter and Troy Hambrick. Yikes!

Add that to me posting they would win and laying money on the spread.
