Kimbo Slice vs. Tank Abbot Fight

Well this is the video of the fight that happened on

February 16th in the EliteXC show…in Kimbo’s hometown of Miami. It’s the battle of the street fighters as old school Tank goes up against internet superstar Kimbo.

Tank Abbot clearly looked nervous with his pacing back and fouth & he is 42 years old compared to Kimbo Slice who is only 32. But Tank was the one who challenged Kimbo after Kimbo's fight, and also at bars. It reminds me of the Ken Shamrock and Tito Ortiz fight. It takes guts to get into the ring with Kimbo after dropping your regular training routines & Drink at pubs & Bars instead.

Was it really surprising what happened in that fight? Tank has won ONE fight in the last 10 years. He's never been a great fighter. Even in his best days he was never able to string together long winning streaks. I do think if the Ken Shamrock vs Kimbo Slice fight comes to be true that would be a much better challenge. While Shamrock is well past his prime he was a much better fighter than Tank ever was and he should pose more of a threat to Kimbo now than Tank did. I think Shamrock has a chance to beat Kimbo where coming into the fight I didn't figure that Tank had much of a chance at all.

Kimbo is a f*cking beast, but I would rather have seen him fight someone who is still a top fighter.

Shamrocks not gonna stand a farts chance in a hurricane. He can't even beat Tito!

Are you trying to say that Kimbo is even remotely in Tito's league? I'm certainly no Tito fan but he's a better fight than Kimbo any day of the week. If someone can take Kimbo to the ground it's over. He has no ground skills and will get demolished if that happens.

Well... Different weight classes as well. I think I enjoyed the Brock vs Mir fight more. I wouldn't mind seeing Kimbo vs Brock.

Hold it, the man just got into MMA, and has been training with BAS RUTEN on his ground skills as well as other areas. He could definitely pose a threat to Tito, and Kimbo may be a better slugger in the end to boot.

I seen the Brock Vs. Mir fight and i knew Mir was trying to trick Brock into stepping in his trap. A Brock vs. Kimbo fight would be awesome match up cause both are new with lots of heart. But we know Brock could do some grappling and Kimbo will do some Knocking it would be fun to watch i bet.

This was of course more entertaining, but im pretty sure Brock got too stoked and was fooled by Mir.

I was impressed with Lesner in that fight. I thought him a joke until then. When he works on his ground game and submission slips- he's gonna be a force.

I don't know if it's my computer or not, but I can't watch the video. It loads up, plays for 3 seconds then stops, I click on the bar to play again, and it does the same thing, 3 seconds then stops. I have to advance it manually with my mouse and there is no audio. I tried it in Firefox and IE. Any suggestions? This sometimes happen with other videos too.. Thanks!
