Cool NBA BASKETBALL!!!

Lol, I was looking for a BBALL thread and didnt see one, so now another major sport has its own thread, BYAAAAAAH!

Who seen the Dunk Contest and the All-Star Game?!

im mainly talking about the Dunk contest cause Dwight Howard took the cake in a major way. almost all his dunks...actually all of them i think got a perfect score of 10's all the way through. He did a Behind the Rim Dunk, Then the SUPERMAN DUNK (where he didnt even dunk on the rim, HE THREW IT in while in the air--MUST WATCH--), then he did a dunk where he threw it against the backboard jumped up, with 1 hand threw it back against the back board then dunked it with the other hand. The last one he did wasnt as great as the others but still pretty neat.

Green also did a nice dunk when he lit a little cup cake with a candle and put it all the way in back of the room, he did a dunk and before he slammed the ball into the basket he blew the candle out...and it actually shows a replay of him blowing it out then slamming the ball.

Here is a link of a youtube video that is 7 minutes long but only consists of the best dunks.

Can I rant about my disappointing/underachieving Denver Nuggets here?

The dunks were awesome. Dwight Howard is a breath of fresh air in the NBA. He's a regular David Robinson.

I'm also incredibly pleased that David Robinson and Tim Duncan in the shooting stars competition were able to win, even though neither of them are distance shooters. I didn't get to see it, but it would have been awesome to watch DR back on the hardwood with Timmy again.

Lakers 130, Suns 124

What a great game! This was the big debut for Shaq with Phoenix and a showcase of 2 of the top 3 teams in the Western Conference. It was a thrilling, well played game (both teams shot over 50%).

Shaq was pretty good, especially in the 2nd half with 15 points and 9 rebounds in 29 minutes. Amare Stoudamire had a huge game with 37 points and 15 rebounds, but Kobe Bryant led the charge for the Lakers with 41 points, and Pau Gasol chipped in 29.

Anyways, it was a great game. The crowd was really into it, which if you ask any Warriors fans from last season in the playoffs, make the game much more exciting to watch.

So, why can't the Denver Nuggets be like this? The Nuggets are my home team but I love watching Phoenix play some inspired ball.

Meanwhile take a look at the Sixers-Knicks game, and these three numbers: Sixers 37, Sixers 35, and Knicks 36. What are they? They would be the point total for the Sixers in the 1st quarter (37), the point total for the Sixers in the 2nd quarter (35), and the Knicks point total for the 1st half (36). Needless to say the Knicks lost by 40.

I know what inspired and uninspired Warriors are like. I'm surrounded by them everyday, LOL.

I used to be a warrior fan back in the day of Run-TMC. My favorite all-time player is tim hardaway, and thats the reason i've been a heat fan ever since he left the warriors for miami. I hated how they broke that warrior team up back then (timmy, webber, gatling, billy owens, sprewell).

Yep, around these parts people really get into their sports teams, i think the Bay Area is getting known for its Sports fans like the Faithful Niners, Oakland raider's Black Hole, and the Warriors now We Believe. The people are getting hyphy in the crowd.

I'm a Laker and Warriors fan but Warriors are the most entertaining team in the league.... when they are doing their thing.

Warriors are doing good right now but I don't think they could take the Lakers in the playoffs when Bynum is healthy. They've just got too many weapons. And yes Kobe is that good regardless if he pimps ugly cheerleads when he has a gorgeous wife at home.

The Lakers/Phoenix was good but that Warriors/Celtics games was amazing

Are you and NoLimit Warrior fans as well?
