I think Boston is going to have to step it up if they want to compete with how the Lakers are playing right now. Playing how they are right now I don't see them taking down LA.

I'm all for KG getting a ring and this year might be there last chance. I say that as Bynum is coming back to LA next year and he if plays like he was before he got hurt they are going to be one scary ass team.

I dunno, I think it'll go 7 games. I say Rajon Rondo, James Posey and the rest of the C's bench performances will decide the outcome. KG and PP have been solid throughout, but they lose when the bench doesn't put up some numbers.

Well, that may be true. At least they don't have the Kobe factor; "I can do everything by myself" It would be nice to see a good classic series like the old days during the 60's (damn Bill Russell stealing all the championships from Jerry West), and 80's (Larry Turd stealing championships from Magic).

Kobe has gotten Lebron-itis and is passing the ball a lot now. Probably because his supporting cast is so much better(although I still say Gasol is way overrated). Boston fans(and people who root for the team that knocked them out(me!)) just need to hope that Kobe gets selfish.

It's halftime of game 1 of the finals and I have one small request. Could we cut out the nostalgic look-back at all of the Celtic-Lakers games in the past? Jesus H. Christ! I know they played each other back in the mid-80's, and I've already seen all twelve of your stupid highlights from those games (Magic's baby hook, Rambis getting closelined by McHale, etc.). You know how? I WAS WATCHING THEM THEN!!!! I don't need a re-cap of what happened and I don't need to be told that the Celtics and Lakers have played each other in the finals before, I got it. This is why I was dreading this matchup all during the playoffs since I know this would be non-stop.

I'd rather be watching Charles Barkley T-Mobile commericals during all the pre-game and halftime segments.

The Warriors have to good talent, but a lot of the heart was around Baron. If I was a Warriors fan, I would be concern he's gone and now with the Clippers. Personally, I think it was a major blow for the team. I don't think they'll make the playoffs because of it.

And I see the Lakers doing their more traditional first round exit. The Lakers have a lot of talent on offensive, but the defensive is always suspect. I think Kobe will do his "I can do everything" BS when the team starts to faulter, which most teams do at some point of the season, and thus keep them in funk longer than need be.
