Yea, the Magic lost a great opportunity when they dropped that game, at home, with Billups out.

Then, Magic guard Jameer Nelson had this to say:

yeah, i dont know what Spud We....i mean Jameer Nelson was thinking on that one. They couldnt win at home with us missing our top player and he thinks they'll come here and win a game 5. I just dont see it happening. even if they magically (no pun intended) happen to win games 5 and 6, no way in hell they win a game 7 at the Palace......now that i jinxed the Pistons we'll see what happens!

Still worried about the spurs. Never won a series when they have been down 0-2. hmmm. Whatever happens, its been fun watching CP3 and Parker go at it.

In all honesty, Blue, I was getting concerned even after game 3, but I am not at all anymore. It's all tied up, and frankly, Timmy's not under the weather anymore (obviously), and the Spurs seem to have mastered their gameplan. Anything can still happen, but Tony Parker and CP3 seem to be a wash when they guard eachother, and Bruce Bowen has really taken Stoyakavic out of the game (THANKFULLY!). David West hasn't played that great in SA, but I don't doubt he will in NO. Figuring out how to take him out of the game on his home court may make the difference between winning and losing.

Oh dont get me wrong, Im pulling for the spurs all the way! I too have been impressed with the way bowen has played defense. also timmy finally looked a but quicker the other night. game on!

Charles Barkley had a great line on the TNT postgame show after the Cavs-Celtics game. He said he didn't want to come in to work the next day because he had "analglaucoma".

Ernie Johnson asked him what that meant and Barkley replied, "I don't see my ass coming into work tomorrow."

Barkley is the best!

Anyone catch the game last night?

Spurs dominate the game, up by 20 with about 6 minutes left in the third. Then, we let that lead dwindle down to 7 in about 4 minutes. On top of that, Manu makes some poor decisions late in the game and probably cost us a solid chance of winning the game.


Honestly though, I never expected to win game 1 after that turnaround. It just hurt more losing that way. Although, it was nice to see we could control the game and tempo like that, even if they didn't do it when it counted most.

I caught the 2nd half of that game, kinda frustrating for me to watch. The Lakers looked like crap in the 1st half and all I could think was "where was this team when the Nuggets played them?". Then after the Spurs 2nd half I was thinking "where was this team when the Hornets were playing them in game 7?"

Actually it's kinda nice to sit back and watch the Conference Finals with zero rooting interest in any of the four teams. Much less stressful.
