I have a problem. I have too many games to play. I haven't yet finished Dragon Age and I am staring at an unopened copy of Mass Effect 2 sitting on my desk. This week Bioshock 2 releases (February 9, 2010), and I don't know what to do! This is killing me! Three awesome SP games and I haven't had a chance to finish any of them!!!
How many of you played the first Bioshock? That game was freaking awesome! The story was amazing and the game was engaging and scary as hell at the same time. I loved it! I had a console die when I was part way through the game and it killed me to wait for the replacement! I ended up buying another one while waiting just so I could continue playing.
The story this time around looks like it will be just as engaging and the gameplay looks just as awesome (with some improvements it seems as well). I know I will be buying the game although I'm not sure when I'll have a chance to play. How about you? Will you be buying it? Are you looking forward to it? Will you be able to put Mass Effect 2 down long enough to get some Bioshock 2 game time in?
I pre-ordered thru Amazon and will have it Tuesday. My intent was to finish ME2 first while Bio2 waited patiently on the shelf, but i'm not really sure if i'll be able to hold off.
I also have Dragon Age, Batman:Arkham Asylum and even Dead Space to either play and/or finish. Now that i've finished with Borderlands (minus some random achievos) that should open up some time. Too many great games, too little time!
You should have had a third option for purchasing later. I have not finished Bioshock yet because I get distracted by the newest game on the block. I'll hold off. I recently bought ME2 before even finishing ME. Duh!! I own Dragon Age, haven't played it yet. Only about 30 or so hours into Fallout, and own all the DLC. Was working on GTA IV earlier last week. I think I'll wait on Bioshock 2.
I will be buying it, fo sho. I am not certain that I actually beat the first one, but I know I loved it enough to get the 2nd one. Big Daddy here I come! Pretty sure I will be buying it day one, but probably will hold off playing it until I finish Mass Effect 2.

First day purchase for me. I'll be filling in the Monday hole with some ME2 to pass the time. I'm interested to see what the MP is like on this one. Hopefully it won’t feel like something just slapped on to keep the GP happy. I can't wait until Tuesday!!!
I played my ass off in ME2 in order to have that one completed before Bioshock 2 hit. I want to be able to devote all my gaming time to it. We're suppose to be getting hammered with more snow on Tues also. I WILL drive to Gamestop in a blizzard if I have to. I'm not doing the midnight thing with this one.
Bioshock was one of the few games I took all the way to the ending. I will be getting BIO2 and playing it, although it will be tough because Dante's Inferno will be sitting next to my XBOX also.

I loved the first BioShock, but it was a rental only because of the lack of replayability. This one will almost certainly be the same despite what is probably a tacked on, afterthought multiplayer mode. Saying a game is a rental only is not a slam to the games quality, just saying that after beating it in 2-3 days, I will never touch it again.
This game has my interest, but I going to wait on a few reviews. I'll probably pick it up at some point, just may not be till later. So little money, too many games.
I only played a bit of the first one, so I'll be giving it a miss, at least for a while. Maybe I'll pick up the first one again and give it some more time. I think I'm only an hour or two in to it.

I'd recommend you do. I still have my copy and won't be using it any time soon if you want to borrow it.

I'm in the same boat, only I never got it at all... I'm figuring by the time I get 1 and play through it, 2 will be $20 too. Yay for me and my wallet. I dunno... I kept hearing how great Bio1 was, but I just never could get interested. At the moment I'm still really enjoying CoD and ME2, along with Borderlands. As such, Bio2 may pass right by as well...
Just finished Fallout so now I still have assassins creed 2, ghostbusters, Left 4 dead 2 on xbox, and god of war collectors edition and uncharted for the PS3 to start and finish before I buy bioshock 2. Its my new rule to not buy any new games until my currently owned games are complete. Now I will be busting ass to finish them because I really want to get into bioshock 2 the first was one of my top 10 fav orite games ever.
I spent a couple hours playing Bioshock 2 last night. This game is amazing. Turn the sub up if you have one and play it when the wife isn't home, because it totally makes a difference. Everytime you jump, or even step sometimes, the boom is loud and gives you the chills.
I need to find a thread on here where we're talking about the game, because I have some questions.

Not me. I'd really like to beat the single player before I even try the multiplayer. I'd hate to try and immerse myself into two storylines at once. The main reason I went ahead and bought the game yesterday was because I wanted to have the game while people were still playing the multiplayer.
