Only 2 peeps in a room? What are you guys, girls? I'm all for 4 in a room to cut costs. I'll sleep on the floor, no big deal. Hell, I don't bite.

Orbitz seemed to always come up with the best deals for me when looking.
EDIT: LOL. Oh man, was Wonder trying to look like that dude? They look like they had a lobotomy.

I'll be trying every year from here on out. Totally worth it. And corners can be cut for sure. It sure was nice being in the hotel next to the convention though-- those beds were awesome. Even if the elevators smelled like a mix of smoke and really bad perfume (wink, wink). If you plan 9 months or so in advance you can start watching airfares and get a really good deal. I flew from Charlotte, NC to Seattle for $178 plus taxes. (The total was like $215 or so).

I picked a Thur-Mon from Ok City, Ok to Seattle on Oct 16th and it was only $217-$230 round trip. You just need to buy a month or two in advance and you can get pretty good rates.
Anyway I hope to see many more folks next year.

Join Date: Dec 2007 Location: Atlanta, GA Age: 32 | I booked a flight from ATL to SEA back in January on Airtran.com. If you book your flights early they will be much cheaper. There was a deal running when I booked mine and round trip with Taxes it was like $225.
Quo and I were actually on the same flight back and the dirty goats didn't smell half as bad as the people at PAX.
