E3 has made me most excited for...
Put the last nail in the coffin, the E3 of years past is dead. While I appreciate a good news conference every now and again it seems to me that E3 has been pretty much destroyed. Gone are days of raucous parties, booth babes and major announcements. Well okay there were some 'major' announcements, but all in all it seems like it was just another week in the gaming industry.
But maybe I don't see it the same way as everyone else. I mean, even if it has changed, we did see quite a few cool things that are coming up and did learn a few things about what each of the three major players (at least) are up to for the coming year.
So what are you most excited about in the coming year?

E3 is not like the old days. And for various reasons--size of event, who gets to go, date, leaked info--it's lost a lot of it's major appeal for it's wowing factor.
As for the event, I'm only excited about the Xbox 360, mainly the netflix player. I'm intrigued by the upcoming XBL fall update, and the RockBand Ion Drum Rocker kit. The Netflix player will be very useful for me. The update, for hopefully, it will run better and faster. The party system is interesting too.

I'm most excited for E3 being a thing of the past. Gaming execs have officially become as dumb as studio execs.

I don't really care about avatar's and home, netflix or other PSN's movie services (Blu-ray is far superior to both). My focus is strictly games so I voted for PS3 as they had the besting gaming exhibition, 360's wasn't bad either and Nintendo's was pretty pathetic. Really all three were underwhelming compared to previous E3's.

I'm with Goat. I care more about games than anything, and the PS3 had the best showing of pure games. Gears 2 and Fable 2 make me an aroused panda bear, but the Sony camp had more quantitative quality.

I'm like most of you guys, I"m more about the games. But there just wasn't anything, game wise, that I got excited about. I either already new it was coming or only gained interest in it. Not one game I saw I felt I had to get it.
Well, as to gaming execs being as dumb as movie execs, I think they've figure out the formula of what they need to do to move units, and thus a lot of it is cookie cutter.
