Well I only read the keynote presentations from MS, Nintendo and Sony so far. Just seemed to lack much of new gaming content (not talking about previously announced titles like Resistance 2, Halo Wars, etc but actual new games announced). Granted E3 is smaller than it used to be as well so that is probably part of it.

Which E3 folder are you talking about? I'm sure I've missed some games as like I've said I've only read the text mostly. It sounds like there are some cool videos to catch up on.

Would have liked to see more new games announced. Curing cancer and contact with aliens would be cool

Oh, I thought you meant on the web. I don't have a 360 anymore but I'll check gametrailers at home tonight to see what all the new games announced are for each system. I'm sure there will be more than just the initial presentations.

I do agree with you that there could have been more new IP's announced.

MS, thus far, seemed to have a better showing for E3. It's pretty sad when things I got some excitement from are a new interface and Netflix ready device, AND not a game. Although, the FF13 was a pretty big announcement. I missed the Nintendo conference, so I can't comment personally. I heard it wasn't anything exciting. The Sony conference didn't really announce anything that wasn't already said was coming or rumored. The only thing that was new was the Gran Turismo TV, and I was underwelmed by it. I personally don't see that many gamers getting excited by it because that's basically something only those really into cars would get excited about.

Unfortunately, E3 just isn't the same any more. Too much stuff is either announced at company sponsored events or leaked. Any more, I watch E3 for the developer walk through demos and to see what special guests they bring; I enjoyed watching Duffy for MS. It is funny to watch some of the company execs make fools of themselves on stage like MS and that movie game, LOL. It also could be that there are so many of these conferences for the game developers, and they're very watchful to be able to announce something at every show.

Alright I watched some videos. Good to see there is a bit more than the actual presentations. Still not to many new games announced. Some great stuff on previously announced games. Infamous looks very good.. Killzone 2's multiplayer video looks fantastic! RE5, GeoWars 2 looks like a cool follow up with co-op. Prince of Persia looks interesting, etc etc Still dissappointed a lot with the big Nintendo showing so far..

Not sure on the Nintendo music game now.. I thought you were making music but I've read that maybe it is just pretending to make music, but it just plays whatever song is selected. If true that is ultimately lame.

Yeah, those two looked great as well. I was really surprised at the way combat is done in Fallout, I expected it to be rather average at best but it looks to be a ton of fun.
