It's just a game, man. I take it about as seriously as I take any other game - I don't. I do every dirty, rotten, nasty, evil, vile thing I can that I would never do in real life, and if it feels good, I do it again. I'd blow up a hobo in the middle of traffic if I could just hold him down long enough to tie him to a chair.

yeah, I'm talking about kids playing. I haven't said I'm offended. Disappointed maybe. I'm just saying its not that good of a game that relies on shock value to sell

There is that element for sure. While I think the game is really, really good, I don't know that the actual gameplay is any better than the like of previous GTA's or Saint's Row. There are actually some aspects of Saint's Row's gameplay that I liked better. I do remember missing the GTA:VC motorcycles in Saints Row... but now that I'm in GTA:4 I'm not as enthralled with the motorcycles. They're cool, but not as over the top. I haven't found ways to jump over buildings, etc. yet though.

Thats the problem, these people have fast track, but because the sign says 25 mph they go below that speed which makes it almost as slow as the cash lane. Its just a minor annoyance, but for a guy who crosses the bridge 5 times a week no less its a bother i deal with every day. At least the authorities are getting the picture that we can speed through the booth at 50 mph no problem, but even if they put it up to 65mph, you already know some people are gonna be too scared (usually suck at driving) and will still go below 20-25 mph.
Bet if you shot a gun in the air people would hit that gas pedal like a race start.

Well, people in the bay drive like crap overall. You either get people who are too timid to drive or think they're driving in NASCAR or a impenetrable tank. Unfortunately around, it's not uncommon for people to run red lights.
Well, FastTrack still saves me time because the cash lanes have long lines. Despite the 10mph pass throughs, it's still faster. Unfortunately, getting there is more of pain since everyone goes in the Fasttrack lanes and at the last minute try to get into the cash lanes.

I absolutely appreciate the vulgarity and rawness of this mature game. I'd like to see the line drawn thicker between mature games and teen games. If only to alleviate the children with high pitched voices screaming and repeatedly yelling the 'N' word during online play. There should be an age feedback available for gamers. If you're playing against a little failed abortion team killing F'tard you should be able to report that the kid should be in school.

Yea true runder but if that line was taken any farther then this would become an AO game and the game company wouldn't sell enough games to even afford making them in the first place.

Good points Runder and Milk. Unfortunately an AO rating means that the games cannot be sold in many places and that would put a hurting on many game sales. And if I do say so myself, thankfully we have PGL so we can meet up with cool, mature gamers!!

Laying a few facts on ya:
Quote:
And interestingly, just after the bill was introduced, the Federal Trade Commission on Thursday released the results of a new "undercover" shopper study, which found the number of incidents of stores selling M-rated video games to teens has plummeted since 2000.
On average, only 20 percent of the 13-to-16-year-old shoppers were able to purchase the games from stores like Game Stop/EB Games, Wal-Mart, Target, Best Buy, and Toys R Us, down from an average of 42 percent in 2006 and 85 percent in 2000. (Some stores recorded a far lower percentage--only 6 percent of those shoppers were successful in purchasing M-rated games from Game Stop, for instance.)
