GameLink now available at PGL.

Since Serren is MIA today, I figured I would post up his announcement for GameLink here at PGL.

PGL was founded by gamers to escape the hassles and frustrations that playing with the general public (gp) can cause. If you want to game online without the cussing, screaming and shrill tones of prepubescents, you've come to the right place! Welcome! PGL is now proud to offer each of you gameLink! What is gameLink you ask? How about a HUGE database that can show nearly every game you own, along with each PGL member who also owns that game. Yeah, so what? This means that at any time you can EASILY pick a game title and see who on PGL owns that game so you can game together. I know there are some Saint's Row fans out there: Would you like to see who also owns that game? Just use gameLink to find fellow PGL'ers who also own Saint's Row. Send them Friend Requests, and jump online. How easy is that?

The initial database is currently Xbox and Xbox 360. We are working on rolling out PS3 and Wii games also, so stay tuned for that. In the mean time, every member of PGL needs to visit their User CP. Down on the left side under Misc. you will see gameLink Games. Click that sucker, and then use the Add a Game drop down and begin adding the games you own.

Now you are in! To see who owns what, visit PGL Gamelink. Feel free to browse game titles and filters. The more who submit their information, the better gameLink gets!

A thousand thanks go to Fragmaster B, Xbox MVP from LAG. He hooked us up with all the programming for this awesome feature. Our very own Crippler was numero uno in getting gameLink working here at PGL, so thanks to him as well.

GameLink is yet another tool offered by PGL to help members have a better time gaming!

Step 1: Access the User Control Panel (User CP)



Step 2: Scroll down the page and view the left side column and click on this:



Step 3: In the middle of the page you will be able to add and remove games using this drop down menu:

Good stuff! I noticed this about a week ago or so and filled mine in. How often are the games updated for newer titles?

We can easily add new titles as they are released. Not a problem.

I'm planning on doing a little mock up with screencaps, but for the time being scroll to the top of the page and click on "User CP." Then scroll down to the bottom of the left column that says "gamelink games." Click on that and add your games from there.
