We are here! Our new home! I can safely speak for most of you by saying I'm really excited! We have many cool ideas in store for everyone and can't wait for everyone to settle in.
These past couple of weeks trying to get PreGameLobby.com set up and ready for you all to help us Beta test have been tremendous. The outpouring of help, support and overall friendship has been amazing. I'm certain I speak for everyone when I say THANK YOU!
So here's the scoop on the current state of PGL. You are all helping us Beta test PreGameLobby.com. While some things may be in final form, others may not even be close. In fact, we may throw a complete style overhaul into the mix before we go live and certain things may change completely or be subtly modified to suit our collective needs. We ask that you bear with us as we make these changes.
Also, if you notice any glitches or errors or anything that simply doesn't seem right, please post about it
HERE. That way we can keep track of what funky things are going on and what we need to work on fixing. If you have any suggestions, you can also post them in the
same thread.
We wanted to open the doors of PGL even with dust still on the floor and things not quite finished because we wanted a place where we all could call home. I know I felt like we had overstayed our temporary home and I think it will be nice to move slowly into our new home. I'm certain we will have to make some changes before we are done moving in, but at least this way we can kick off our shoes and stop living out of our luggage!
Many of you have graciously offered to donate funds towards the setup costs, etc. We are more than happy to accept these donations. We are working on setting up a system to accept donations and hope to have that up and running soon. So far we have spent $160 on the forum software, $120 on the hosting and $55.98 on various domain names. We will likely have other expenses as well and are working on some cool incentives for members so definitely stay tuned. We will get there with all of your help.
I don't want to bore any of you all with more ramblings (since I'm tired and haven't gotten any gaming in yet today!!
