GOW and COD3 Giveaway Contests

Alright fellow Lobbyists, PGL needs your help. I have in my hand an unopened copy of GOW and an unopened copy of COD3 that I am dying to give away! At the same time I would like to generate some buzz for PGL and/or have a fun contest (or two) for giving these away.

The editors have all thrown out ideas about different contests but I want to hear some creative thinking from the rest of the community. The sky is the limit on this one. Come up with something creative that will get more members involved, or perhaps even drive more members to the site. If we get a couple of awesome ideas we can set them into motion and give away these games. Or if all of the ideas suck we'll just think up one on our own! Hm... internet hazing at its best!

I would love to see more PGL'ers on line playing with us all and this seems like a great way to get it done.

So start brainstorming people - throw the ideas out there! Oh yeah and for the record, this is brainstorming so please throw out all kinds of ideas no matter how lame you or others may think they are!

Peench - see if you could get any of your hookups at MS to do a feature on PGL. It could be proposed as an XBox Live media feature, kinda like Artist of the Month. Instead, do Clan or XBox Community of the month. It would be a great way for MS to reach out and make their community more cohesive, and it would provide the featured groups with Kudos that they deserve for whatever reason they get featured.

That's a good idea Fragz. We've got somethign in mind to giveaway one of the games. We should be able to get it started within the week.

The other one may be a mishmash of the cool ideas in this thread.

to extend and combine it, a local burrito place here posts up pics of its customers in strange destinations wearing t-shirts from the establishment. We ought to do the same thing once we get some shirts printed up...

I think we should contact Microsoft and ask them if we can be showcased on xbox live, you know, right when you start up the 360, right there, even perhaps have a little xbox live marketplace content for the individuals, all the good marketing strageties, lemme know what you think!
