The next two weeks

Over the next two weeks, I’ll be on the road attending the Tokyo Game Show this week in Japan, followed by X’06 in Barcelona, Spain. While many if you may be aware of TGS, X’06 needs a little more explanation: X’06 is an invitation only, Microsoft run event where we roll out Holiday titles and other news. Team Xbox has a details here on past X0 events. So, what does that mean to you ?
What you can expect:

• As usual, I’ll be recording the audio from the Xbox briefings and posting them here.
• I will also grab any audio interviews I can, and post them as well.
• Keep an eye on Xbox.com, since we’ll be providing full video coverage of both events as well
• We are not currently planning on video streaming either briefing, but we will have the complete briefings captured in video and posted later in the day on Xbox.com for you to watch.
• I’ll post links here when any related videos are posted on Xbox.com

Also:

• Due to the crazy travel schedule (I actually circle the globe completely by the end of the journey) my regular Sunday shows are on hiatus. I’ll resume the normal show schedule when I return.
• My marketplace postings will be delayed and/or sporadic as well, since I’ll be away from the computer most of the day local time. Therefore, I won’t be tracking the new content as closely as usual. Either I’ll catch up and post the details when I get back online, or Litheon may step in and pick up the slack when he can. Either way, feel free to post in the comments if you see content that has not been mentioned before until he or I can get around to it.

One more thing…if you are going TGS, please email me (Major-at-Xbox dot-com) and let me know if you’re around Friday evening (Sept. 22) and I’ll send you details about a Community Party that is happening in Japan. I don’t have many passes…so it’s first-come, first-serve! Sorry, X’06 is completely full, so I can’t help you there.

P.S. Yes, I’ll have a show today…but it’s not my normal show. I decided to try something different.
