Am I the only one?
I play mostly ranked Sharpshooter matches in large rooms (14 or 16 players). About 50% of the time, usually at the end of a round, the game and the console just freeze up. The only way to get out of it is to reboot and lose my hard earned progress. Of course this happens most often when I am really playing well.
Just checking to see if it is just me....my 2nd (MS refurbished) 360 has been a total POS from the start. I think it's just time to get a new one. I’ll try to return just the disk first.

| I had it freeze twice on me while trying to do the face-mapping thingy. Granted, I have probably done that thing like 20 times, but still. I've also seen or heard other people who've lock up as well. | |

| I have multiple crashes. Thank God it isnt just me, I have not been able to enter any sharpshooter or team death matches. It always crashes and sticks on the screen where you first enter a room, usually the screen stays all red | |

| it's weird that we're having as many freezings as we are. You would think that they would work those kind of bugs out of the game, for the most part... | |

I usually double check if this happens and walk to the other room where the lan is and check 'surfing or download' speeds. Sure enough during those instances, it was the Net being slow and for some reason my 360 just hangs up. I guess the box does 'keep alives' to MS.

| okay it does seem to be partially based upon internet connection. I, along with BMC, and NuclearCujo all froze I think when BiffCo's connection dropped us. So yeah... | |

| the more I play this game, the more I am noticing bugs and glitches that, I feel, shouldn't be there. I've had plenty of times where I'll stick against the wall and not be able to see anything but just a black screen, which is remedied by unsticking myself to the wall.
All the lock-up issues as well.
I know that Nuclear Cujo had some problems with his gun disappearing and him not being able to shoot. So he would just pick up a terrorist gun and then drop it back down for his original gun and then it would be fixed.
I still like this game a lot, and it's fun to play for sure but, I definitely get the feeling that it was rushed a bit now.

| I had a fun one last night... Two buddies of mine just picked the game up yesterday so I was taking them through the story mode co-op - starting w/ the first mission - Border Town (or whatever).
So we're in the chopper cutscene at the beginning of mission - talking about how cool the flight looks - checking out the digi-masking, and then we get to the point where they drop us off...
Well - they dropped us alright... out of the chopper, down to the ground and then OOOPS!! through the ground... and then we were all just "falling"... and kept falling.. you could look up and and see the 'world' above getting smaller and smaller - and if you looked down it was like a black spiral thing... very Alice in Wonderlandish... lol
We tried to throw a grenade to kill ourselves, but that didn't work as the grenade fell away from us... Very strange! Kinda makes ya wonder what piece of code took over and caused that. Finally had to just quit the session and start all over again.

| Sorry if it appeared that I bailed last night. When that last room loaded up, my 360 froze and I shut her down. What a blast that was up until that point. Between 2 of you getting burned up, and Brad and I splitting evenly 84 killed terrorists, I had a good time. The missing gun glitch affected me 3 or 4 times last night. I would first be unable to switch to a hangun, then my primary disappears, unable to fire at all. | |

Wait, are there any issues with Splinter Cell?

| I did lock-up once in SC: DA, to my recollection.... I don't remember why I did or any of the details but I remember a little worried about it...
You bring up a good thought about it being a Ubi soft issue in general.
