Okay, I've set up a system to begin a new type of PGL warfare. We've all been in wars, but this is a little different - instead of two or three massive teams where you never know who's gonna show up, everyone will be on a fixed squad and will try to win based on a set of tiers, or "steps," which are determined by a number of wins (we'll get a bit more technical after the sign up), with each tier being a different game type.

The goal is to win the top tier. Once the top tier has been won, that tier is closed down and all squads in that tier are finished; then the remaining squads will have an opportunity to win the tier they are in. If a squad is the last squad in the lowest tier, they have ONE chance to move up to the next tier. If they can't, then that tier is closed down with no winner for that tier.

The point system is easy as pie: win = points added, lose = points lost.

Alternates may be used, but only once per squad; after that - your squad is gonna be left hanging outnumbered (don't blame me - I just make the rules).

All matches will be set on Fridays & Saturdays, only last about an hour at most, and will alternate (so if you had a match on Friday this week, next week you'll have a match on Saturday). This may not always be the case, though - depends on squads being dropped and even/odd numbers of squads remaining. Each week's schedule will be posted up once the last set of matches has been noted.

So all we gotta know is - who's in? While this isn't the amazing wars that Quo & the rest have put on for all to bitch about (er... bow down in awe about I meant), it should be fun & shouldn't last no more than 4 to 6 weeks, depending on how many people participate.

I'm going to go out on a limb & use the R6V2 owners list to begin setting up teams - if you're not interested or would like to be considered only as an alternate, please let me know as I'm going to start putting all the best players on my team... No, really.

Quo - I'll PM you a more detailed description... Basically, everyone starts at 0 points, in the bottom tier. Say there's four tiers - fourth to first; in order to move from the fourth tier to the third tier, your squad has to have a certain number of points.

We can work around the dates - I just want to keep FNFFs in mind.

Milk - all squads will be placed together 100% at random so there's no bickering or back & forth about who's on what squad.

Sorry bro, color me as a non-participator. Saturday night is usually the one night a week I don't game(or game very little), I gotz' prior engagements ya know? Even if I were to try and make it to one, it would be far too late to play in this.

The one thing for me, I can do it both nights while I'm on disablity, but when I go back to work, I probably won't be able to do Saturday nights because 90% of them I work till 5-pm Sat to 1am Sun PST.
