Being one of the 5% that found something to blame the last war on & fall out of (hmm, nades, was it? ), I can totally relate to supa's post here. Everyone was always - always - on CoD4 and so my gaming time with the PGL during the last war went way down.

I don't care what kind of war it is, so long as it doesn't exclude people in the future, as in taking the place of FNFF, you know what I mean? The wars have always been fun but I think there are those that take it a little more seriously than others. I mean, it's no fun getting your ass spanked all the time, especially if it's way lopsided - but that's the way it goes. I would also think shortening the length of wars would be better, too - at the end, people just want them to be done with.

Anyway, Quo, thanks for stepping up - we're playing some from this group on Sunday for GRAW2; I'll let you know my impressions, but it's pretty much for fun so we can probably get a good mix going on of us vs. them and combinations too.

I don't have no issue with mixing the games. There are a lot of Fridays where I'm not gaming with the main group because I just don't have the game; COD3, Halo3, and COD4 are some examples.

The only knock right now on the r6v2 is a lot of us are trying to build up our experience points. So a lot of modes were playing are setup to bring up the XP points points faster such as Team Leader.

Well, I'm just gonna throw this out there - I came up with a set up for a tournament, but it isn't tested. We could always try it out with this game if people want to do it.

I can't say if it'll be successful, but at least it's doing something and might be system we can improve upon for future games. Just need people.

I'm your Huckleberry, Thornes. just let me know.

I hear you guys on the event dominating FNFF. In the future, I'd like to spread it out (not every friday night) AND somehow shorten the event... like limit it to three or four nights tops. If I remember right in at least one of the initial war things, we intended to do it that way but everyone actually wanted to play every friday until we finished it. The game was popular and it was the "in" thing.

I appreciate everyone's input. We'll keep working to make things better. In the meantime, Supa's doing a great job of getting the word out on the "game of the week" approach... FNFF's lately have been very fun,so many kudos to Supa for his efforts!

Cool beans - give me a bit to "dumb it down" and I'll post up a new R6V tourney thread.

How many people we have doing this? We need smaller teams.

I'm down for it. I can host matches if need too. I seem to have a nice connection for hosting; hardly a complaint about lag.

The length issue is only an issue when it becomes the point of playing, and not for fun. I'm not playing on joining any kind of MLG thing. I'm just not that serious about games. I just want to have some fun with friends.

Okay, thanks Quo - I've taken the liberty of setting it up in THIS THREAD.

Nothing set in stone yet, just putting it out to see if everyone who wants a war would want to do this. Things can always be changed up a bit to be more accomodating & there's no worries about taking others opinions into play - but if we're gonna do this, we should probably get this 400lb boulder moving up that hill pdq, eh?
