RSV2 some things about it

After playing for a couple hours & talking to a few guys that wanted to know details. Graphics are a little better, not knock your eyes out. You rank up with just about everything you do. When you play single player your AI also gets you rank points for things they do. AI seems a little smarter this time but yes they can still walk in front of you when you toss a grenade. The ol hit them in the head and bounce back & kill yourself. When you rank up in the aces you unlock different weapons armor & sometime just extra rank points. The first time you put the game in it recognizes if you have played RB6V & gives you a higher starting rank. One problem for you achievement junkies, you don't get the achievement for reaching Pfc if it starts you higher than that. You have three Aces to rank up in, each one has 20 ranks, & the game tells you what score you need & also what your current score is. Each of the three aces needs different thing to get points. Distance kills, explosives, close kills etc. Terrorists seem smarter, more flanking & attacking & incinderary grenades . Oh yeah I think they still have the killer shotgun. Haven't tried coop or online yet waiting for PGL freinds to game with.

OK so I have never really played the first one except first 5 min and I didnt like it. So Wood or anyone else do you think its worth buying if I really like cod and didn't care much for the first R6? I just got army of two and I'll try it out tomorrow but debating on buying R62. Especially if a lot of you guys are going to stick with cod. Anyway put some multiplayer opinions up if you have played it. Thanks in advance.

I got in late on the whole RB6 thing. So I never really got to sit down and play it. It looked cool to me. So I cant wait to try it out with the gang here. I get the feeling it plays like Swat3 did, only better.

How did you not like vegas one. Did you try the multiplayer thats what makes vegas good. I still play the first vegas, but I never made it past the first SP level but I dont like SP games unless there RPG's

i dont remember, was your rank in R6V:1 saved on their servers or via your hard drive? im thinking it was saved on the servers, i hope so, i have a new HDD with no rainbow on it at all

When i tried it I was very much into gears and the and the only other shooter i really liked was halo so after 5 min of it (probably more but I say 5 cause I know I didnt spend much time on it) I was board and went back to gears. I just want to hear whats great and what isnt so I can decide if this will take me away from cod.

I heard that online co-op was only two players. That sucks...

It's actually probably going to be the deal-breaker for me.

Yeah, I'll be deleting my RB6:V1 save data before I play this one. I'm not an achievement whore, it'll just annoy the piss out of me have the Officer achievement before I get the Pfc achievement. So I hope it was saved solely on the HDD.

Yeah, then when you run through doors when somebody is trying to snake cam it, you'll just have 2 deaths instead of 4.

Yeah, I'm curious about the ranking, too. Since I got all the way to Elite, I wonder how far up the rank I would be placed, if I actually got the game.

I was about 2 bars short of elite. I think it started me about specialist or maybe a rank above Pfc. TH is 4 player. Coop is 2 and the leader controls the AI.

Well you'll still have 4 player TH like in the old vegas. So if you have 4 play TH and if you have two play co-op story.

Well you might not like this kind of game because it is very much different than halo or gears. The run button has made moving around faster but its still nothing like those games. In halo you can run out and get shot a few times then turn find the guy shooting you and hopefully kill him, but in rainbow if someone is shooting at you before you see them your pretty much dead..... one shot to the noggen and thats it. I never played gears but from what ive seen it takes a lot to kill someone like in halo {not that thats bad I like playn those types of games too}.
