I still have the first one, and have been playing it again with a buddy of mine - anytime you wanna play, just let me know.

Yeah, I now have 'em both, so I'd be game to play either, when I have the time.

Wow. So I'm already a Staff Sergeant, that's where I was at the end of R6V1. And as far as the ACES categories:
Marksmanship - 20 (max)
CQC - 6
Assault - 2
Yup. After maybe 5 hours of single player I've already maxed out marksmanship. Probably because last time the only way to get experience was by playing multiplayer.

I gotta say, the framerate drops a bunch during "convention". I've actually seen quite a few bugs, and thats sad from a game and studio of this caliber. That being said though "I Love It", I just thought I'd give Brad some ammo

i played some ranked and player matches last night and felt like i was getting my ass kicked. i usually came out in the upper side of my team, but it seemed like no matter what gun i use there was a huge spray pattern and my opponents kill me with big time ease. i havent gone through all the guns yet but i did try all my old favs, the mp5n, mp9, famas.. they all have to much kick i guess
so far, i didnt have much fun playing MP versus. i decided to play through the story a bit and set it up so anybody could join me, on realistic. some random dude joined me, and we had a blast. hopefully this doesnt turn into another GoW for me, i like the hell out of the co-op, but the multi-player sucked, for me.
i believe one of the main contributers to my dislike for the game so far is the sprint ability, i wish it wasnt there, some games i dont think it belongs in

The sprint seems to run out pretty quick, so I don't see it being much of a factor.

They said the main purpose of the sprint was to get from one piece of cover to another. I try not to use when I'm just moving around the map.

That was the most random thing I've heard in a long time... haha!
I've been playing the single player story of this game, and I've really loved it. Getting experience points for just about everything you do adds a lot of fun to it. There are a lot more locked weapons when you start the game than there were in RB61, but that's definitely not a problem, considering it's so easy to rank up and unlock stuff by playing any style of single, co-op, or adversarial mode you want.
So far, I give this game a
Oh, and a note to Brad: I can understand not buying this game if you think it's just a rehash of the old one, but what you may or may not be taking into consideration is that pretty much no one is going to be playing the old one when the new one is available. I know I sure won't. It was a fun game and all, but this is the one everyone's playing now, and I do think that the new additions make it more fun. -Just my two cents.

They've definitely upped the ante on the damage that enemies deal. I roll with nearly full armor and I quickly go down to enemy fire. Much faster than usual.
