Preorder RSV2 for bonus map

Couldn't get the code to work either. Here's what the little label on the game box says:

On the Main Menu:
Hold [RB], then press Down, Down, Up, Up, X, B, X, B, Y, Up, Up, Y

My question, though, is, "What is considered the Main Menu?" And, what "stick" do you use when pressing "Down" and "Up"?

The Main Menu is considered the beginning screen, where it says, "PRESS START TO BEGIN."

And, I used the D-pad, and it just worked for me.

I printed the instructions as they are printed in the little sticker attached to the box. But yes, it's the D-pad and you press the code in on the menu with options for "single player", "versus", "my character", "options" and "extras".
