PSP bundles

Since I'm laid up for a while, I'm considering getting a PSP for car rides and waiting around in wait rooms. Costco seems to have a decent deal on the Star Wars bundle, what do you think?

$238 for Ceramic White System with Darth Vader Silkscreen, AC power cord, AC adaptor, Battery pack, Game: Star Wars: Battlefront Renegade Squadron, PSP-2000 Component AV Cable (5 connections), and PSP-2000 Headphones With Remote Control.

Seems like a decent deal with the extra stuff. I've looked, and the family guy pack has more useful stuff, but the UMD movie isn't appealing to me.

The only thing I wish they came with is some kind of carrying case, which Target's bundles have, but those come either games I don't have interest in or UMD movies that I have no interest either.

Yo, Why dont you check Ebay or Craigslist for a cheap one, I also remember Supa was selling his, but i think he kept it because he posted that topic on 4 gig memory cards. You could find a nice bundle for maybe $150.

Unfortunately, there really isn't much of any deal for a PSP, unless you want to go with a PSP 1001 (nonslim). I prefer to slim so I have option to game on a regular TV if I choose.

I looked at the bundles and broke them down. This is based on current prices as 4/15/08. The basic system (2002) is $170. The Star Wars version has Renegade Sqaudron, which is still selling new at $35 to $40, which puts buying separately a saving of $10.

The Daxter bundle is similar. System is $170, Daxter is selling about $20, 1 GB due card is about $15, and the Family guy UMD is about $15, which comes to a total of $220 over the $200.

It's just goofy, but most of the bundles, you're only saving about $10 to $25. And I've seen some with no savings. Unfortunately, no where as a deal that's is better than the rest. Ebay, Amazon, Target, and so on. Although Target had more bundles to select from, and bigger bundles too.

I ended up going with Amazon and just getting a black slim (2002) series, a Lexar 1G pro stick duo, and Patapon about $213. No shipping fees and taxes, which is good since I can't drive anywhere. Estimated to get here on 4/24/8,
