A Sony spokesperson told GI.biz that the list on Kotaku is "not an official release schedule. None of the dates on the list have been confirmed at this time."
"I don't know where Kotaku have taken them from or why they're claiming 'SCEE have clarified dates' as we haven't sent them anything, and neither have our Central office."
The popular gaming blog is famous for revealing Home to the masses, but has also misled readers with an inaccurate portrayal of what the PSP redesign would be. More details on Sony's PSN service will be forthcoming at TGS, but considering the fairly sparse support that the Home beta has received, we predict that the service will need a lot more time to develop into something truly worthwhile. link

I think Home will actually be pretty cool, but I think it's also gonna have some major concerns down the road... cyberstalking, anyone?

I think it'll be awesome, to make clan/community rooms decorate with members art work n so on furnish the rooms, have "PRE GAME" chats lol and then get into the gaming also the text chatting seems cool with not everyone owning mics.
It will be cool also how you can auto load it as ur "Dashboard" and your able to teleport to the sections, not mess on walking/running all the time so it wont be a time waster, It imo look more professional with a casual feel to it when using it, mini games ect its all good i dont see the prob, Cyber stalking wont be a prob since you have to allow/ invite people in your room, no random people can join unless you want them to.

Actually - I have a guy I know who's testing the beta; I guess I should ask him about it.

A somewhat meaningless waste of ime, kinda like those '2nd Lifers'. The XMB is just fine and I like that more than Live's.

And remember esksir, beta= totally unfinished and not like the full version, stalking might be possible in beta depends on what theyre implemented into it sofar if ya get me, the beta is ment to be sucky cus you cant even do half the things you are going to be able to do in release. However it does give an idea.
PS. Im partially sick of the xmb its a bit to bland and boring however very quick and reliable I must say so i cant complain, I prefer it over the dashboard, but i'd prefer home over the xmb.

| Dude, I'm totally starting a Home Gang to go around and harass people. I wonder if we can rough somebody up and steal their games in Home? | |
