Unedited Lair gameplay on the Playstation3 captured in 480i.
After all of that negative publicity I have to comment that this game has captured my attention. Some cheesy dialogue aside this is a definite buy.
The game itself is very cinematic and the audio is intense! The slo-mo scenes when killing an enemy are epic! The controls, which integrate the sisaxis to control your dragon in flight, add a level of complexity depth to the game that was fairly surprising.
The game itself is very intuitive and mastery of the controls creates a movie like in game experience which, when done correctly, is phenomenal!
The first time I boarded and opponent’s dragon to take them both out I hooted!
This is the opening scene, so it isn't very much of a spoiler. I started the vid from the intial load after the intro scenes and did not edit until the level ends. After getting more accustomed to the controls I found myself replaying levels and experimenting with combat techniques. After a little practice I noticed a dramatic improvement!
