Sony Announces Full Second Quarter Line-Up

Sony has issued a full announcement concerning the second quarter lineup of the PlayStation brand. The software spans PlayStation2, PlayStation Portable, PlayStation 3, and downloadable PS3 games. One thing's for sure is that the PlayStation 3 release list is looking mighty tempting, with games like Ninja Gaiden Sigma, The Bigs, The Darkness, Puzzle Fighter HD, Calling All Cars, MLB 07,and SpiderMan3. Likewise, we've heard some decent things about Pirates of the Caribbean, so if it turns out solid, that's another game to add to the list.

The PSP is also featuring a good selection of titles such as Crazy Taxi, Final Fantasy I, Final Fantasy II, Rainbow Six Vegas and Test Drive. And while the PlayStation2 is slowly fading away, support for the console continues to exist; look for Tomb Raider: Anniversary, Dawn of Mana, Manhunt 2, Odin Sphere, and NCAA 08 to drop between now and the end of June.

"Our second-quarter line-up of PS3, PSP and PlayStation 2 software titles demonstrates a continued commitment from both SCEA and third-party developers to the PlayStation family of products," said Peter Dille, senior vice president of marketing, SCEA. "We are excited by the content being developed by our partners, but are also looking forward to launching PlayStation-branded exclusive games created by our own worldwide studios this quarter and throughout the rest of 2007."

Isn't "The Darkness" coming out for 360 as well? Ok, the Ninja Gaiden Sigma looks interesting.
