Sony's Help Ensured flOw On PS3, Not Wii

If it wasn't for Sony going above and beyond the call of duty, flOw might have been a Wii title instead of a PS3 one. When the title was still a hip Flash game, That Game Company had to decide whether to go with PS3 or Wii.

"That was the hardest decision we ever had to make," said TGC's Kellee Santiago at a GDC Q&A session as reported by Gamepro. After all, both PlayStation 3 and Wii have motion sensitivity. But they decided to go with PlayStation 3.

"Sony kind of came to us with the process of incubation," Santiago continued. "They helped us get our studio started."

And that's why it's available now in the PlayStation Store and not on the Wii Shop channel.

I bought flOw on the weekend and I really enjoy this game, actually it's not really a game but an experience. When I started playing it and discovered the 6 lifeforms that are available I looked up at the clock and didn't even realize an hour and a half had gone by!

I find myself going back to it....there's no stress and no strategy but just using the sixaxis to move around and eat up the surrounding sea life feels natural. I REALLY like how they did the credits, that caught me by surprise!

GoatMother will become famous soon enough

I've played the flash version (free online for PC) and it seem like a relaxing mellow game. I've read the PS3 version is better but they don't offer a playable demo

I wanted to check out a demo, but there wasn't one. Maybe I will buy it on your recommendation. It is pretty inexpensive isn't it?
