How is everyone liking their PS3's so far? I'm considering buying one b/c I believe Blu-Ray will win the format war, but I hear there is a revision of the hardware that will be released this summer. So maybe I should wait in order to avoid 1st gen-console-idus.

I really can't get used to playing fighters on the Xbox controller and that's basically one of my fav genres.

So far Resistance looks good with the 40man multiplayer and VF5 is out along with Tekken5 at the online store right?

I loved R:FOM and I love it as a BD player. I'll love it even more once more games are released!

R:FOM rocks and so does the BR playback. I would highly suggest getting one! Plus, it looks sexy and you might be able to cook a fat-reduced cheeseburger with it in the future upgrade!

I love it as a BluRay player. The only game that I have on it is Dark Kingdom, which is fun (but the graphics aren't anything spectacular). As a gaming machine, I prefer the 360 (I like the 360's controller much more, the 360 is more polished given a year's head start, the only features of the 360 are better IMO, etc)

If you want to get into the high def DVD world and you aren't too torn up by not having movies from the studio Universal, the PS3 is the way to go (with its features and cost, it blows away any of the stand alone BD players that cost 2x as much).

The Blu-ray aspect is phenominal! The gaming, not so much (at least until they release more titles!). But, yes, Resistance is a good game, I am looking forward to getting Motorstorm when that comes out here!

I'm loving the PS3 as well. It is definitely a fun machine and having the Blu-Ray playback is an awesome bonus to a gaming machine. Hopefully the new games will hit soon and then it will, in fact, be an awesome gaming machine. I have had fun with mine and my kids have had a great time playing some of the downloadable demos as well.
