We've all had time to play the gorgeous Gran Turismo HD Concept demo that Sony put out a few months ago, and we clearly want more. So here's some news that will ale you; Jeux-France received word from Sony Computer Entertainment France that their current schedule for Gran Turismo 5 is a late 2007 Japanese launch, and a Spring 2008 European launch. If Japan is getting GT5 in 2007, that surely means that North America will too. Sony would never pass up the chance to launch a system-seller as important as GT during the holidays. And historically, American Gran Turismo games are released shortly after their Japanese version.
Additionally, the Jeux-France learned of a GT5: Prologue to be released this Autumn as a downloadable game on the PlayStation Network. As far as a price-tag is concerned, we're not quite certain whether or not Prologue will even have one. We'll attempt to look into this by contacting SCEA and see if we can get an answer
