Now, I see them in stock and, not a single person has been buying them. I just see them sitting there collecting dust. Wii's and 360's are getting bought up, why not the PS3? Is it because of the price?

| Probably because of the price but, it could be that they are selling pretty well, they're just shipping a lot more, nowadays. At least that's according to what Sony Reps say.
I am not sure I believe that, but I'll say, I really do like the PS3!

Unfortunately right now there just aren't a lot of games out there and no killer ap to make people want the PS3. There is a hefty price, but I am glad that I added it to my Home Theater.
If you are into FPS Resistance is a good first game. I have also been using the Blu-ray player quite a bit. The ability to play mpeg files is also an added bonus...I did a video capture on a few of my VHS tapes that were collecting dust, transferred the files to an external Hardrive that I use with my 360 and PS3, and I got to watch a fishing video that I haven't seen in years!
I have a feeling that when Lair hits the shelves more people with be buying this console.
It is worth the price. | |

| Funny thing is, when both of them first launched, two times I went into a store and saw Wii''s just sitting there, but no PS3s... I guess a role reversal happened here! | |

I'm sure part of it is Sony's supply chain, but according to the reps at my two local Walmarts and a local Target, people just aren't buying them. I guess that doesn't correspond with the sales numbers, so I wonder what's going on.

| I think word has gotten out that there aren't really any killer apps. Resistance is fantastic but, a $600 dollar gaming unit to play one game? And, what's more, there haven't been any games that came out and won't be until the end of this month. Even then, you're still getting games that aren't the "killer app" material.
As far as I am concerned, I don't care about the game aspect. I know it'll get better. I'm just content watching BD movies on it for now!

| I've had one in my hand twice and both times set it back down. My only interest in it is the Blu ray capability and I know as soon as I get it I will spend another 500 in movies which I really shouldn't do right now. If the wii even had 720 capability I would pick one up. I am thinking it will look like crap on a 96" screen though, not that the games it offers need that good of graphics. | |

| Haha, nice story Lord Sam. Honestly, if the PS3 had like 1 or two more great games like Resistance, I think they would be sold out still. But, since they don't, they aren't sold out and they're kind of biting the big one right now. | |
