Blu-Ray Discs to include portable files

Here is a quote from Sony official David Bishop, the head of the company's Home Entertainment Unit.




Sony Pictures Entertainment will include portable files on Blu-Ray DVDs that can be transferred without a download. Sony may add the feature this year. It's not currently part of anything on our current release schedule, but we'll probably roll it out sometime this year.




What a great idea! Buy a Blu-Ray movie and transfer it to your PSP for one the go. I love it

How does it get to your PSP or other portable media player if you don't have a BR drive on your PC (which most people don't)?

If you plug your PSP into your PS3 you can transfer all sortsa stuff to your PSP. There are games in the Sony store on the PS3 that you can download or buy and then transfer directly to your PSP.

Probably. But the Memory Stick Duo Pro cards are pretty big... and pretty dang expensive!!
