I don't know, didn't do it yet. Maybe a fix for blu-ray playback. Mine has been fine, but some have reported problems on movies after 1.3.

yeah, I've seen reports. Of the many times I've put in a BD movie it's not frozen up... but added support is always nice.

Anyway, they don't usually post details for the updates until a day or two later, I think.

How many updates does that make? What do you do if you don't have high speed internet? I only ask cause one of you guys mentioned it started with update 1.1, so does that mean theres been thirty updates.

Methinks you go by the 10ths place. If it goes into the hundredths place, that probably means a revision to a current update. So it's probably like 3-4 updates so far?

I don't believe their've been that many updates available for the public. The jump I think was from 1.1 to 1.30. I know companies do that and test them internally without release to the public just for improvement purposes!

apparently the only fix in this update is fixes a couple network issues, or improves them. That's all it does...

I don't mind updates to fix things but, one thing at a time looks like it's going to be a little tedious.

No streaming of music or ripping a cd and playing your own soundtrack while playing a game(or demo) yet with the update?

They've only had since November of '01 to match that feature

I'm sure they'll get around to it. Obviously, Microsoft has the upperhand because this is what they do... but, I have faith that Sony will get this feature implemented soon enough!
