So far I have used:
Gyration wireless keyboard and mouse--both work flawlessly
Treo Bluetooth headset--it was recognized by the PS3 and was registering on the test but I have not been able to try it out online yet.
Did not work
300gb extrenal hardrive (USB connection, FAT Formatted). It recognized the drive, it just does not show any content. It must be the format.

| Wow - the PS3 supports NTFS, but the 360 only supports FAT. I find that amusing. Should make it easier to use external drives with the PS3 if that's the case. | |

Join Date: Sep 2006 Location: Left Coast | Apparently the Eye Toy USB camera (I think any usb would work) will do a digimask type application for some PS2 games and the Playstation network recommended it and the Eye Toy USB headset (which I can't find anywhere). I went to Eyetoy.com and it looks like Sony owns them.
I also found this: Plantronics Pulsar 590 Bluetooth Stereo Headset.
I alows for chat. I wonder if the range is better.

Join Date: Sep 2006 Location: Left Coast | Ok I partitioned my external drive into 1/2 FAT32 and 1/2 NFTS. I hit the Green Triangle it opened a menu and the scanned the FAT32 partition and found all of the files. It never located the NFTS partition. Looks like I will be reformatting again....
So the PS3 does work with drives formated in FAT32.
Most of my music is WMA so I am SOL in that respect. So far 360 is winning in the media department in my book.

Join Date: Sep 2006 Location: Left Coast | It looks like it does both. At this point I am leaning towards keeping the 360 as my media player....I do like the visuals on the PS3 music player though.
