Launch titles? How many for real?

I forgot all about this topic until today. I was in target before work and they had only 8 ps3 games, kmart had 1 less. Is that all they launched with?! Those of you who have been, or plan on going shopping this weekend, take note of how many games stores have for the system, Thanks.

If its only 7 or 8, they screwed up a lot more than I previously thought. They said they had 18 to 22 ready, with 15 being the realistic amount after some got delayed. 150,000 consoles with 8 games is just sad. I think the last system to launch with that many was Saturn or N64(actually N64 has the least ever for a launch with 3, maybe 4).

Maybe by this weekend and some of you report in, there will be more arriving. I'll have to do some research for a definitive answer on what actually was in stores ON launch day.

There are 9 wii games at kmart. I was shocked because Kmart sucks for video games, period. They even got in the 360 wheel and a lot of cameras and others accessories. Time to use that discount card!

I was it Frys yesterday, I think they may have had a couple more then that. The thing I thought was funny they must hay had 80 or more Xbox 360 premiums there for sale on 2 pallets. It was a very cool site.
