PS3 Owner....Almost

My wife picked up a PS3 for me this morning......but.......it's already on EBay.



She found it at a local Wal-Mart today, by chance, as they were opening the overnight stock. It took me a month to find a damn 360, driving all over town, everyday!

It's only the 20 GB version but man I want to keep it. If we can make a few bucks to cover my daughter's x-mas gifts this year, it's gone. Otherwise, it's mine.

The 360 has sucked every last dollar out of me over the past year but some of the PS3 features definitely intrigue me. Plus, the fact it's staring at me right now doesn't help. I swear, lust like the PS3 commercials it has special powers and it's saying "open me...hook me up via HDMI to your brand new 1080p Sony HDTV...or you will die." Scary stuff.

Good luck to all that are searching. They are definitely starting to trickle in if the ancient Wal-Mart this one was found at got some..

Yeah the one that I am suppose to get on the 1st of Dec. is going on Ebay also. Mainly to help fund my very expensive wedding coming up next year. The price of a wedding is ridiculous.

The other option is to go for a smaller wedding and put the rest of the money into a house or something. Certainly not the most romantic idea, but definitely more practical.

yeah, my wife and I got lucky with making our wedding come out to under 5000. Which was REALLLLLLY nice!

Even though it was cheap (price-wise) it was perfect in every way, in my opinion AND my wife's opinion as well!

We spent a lot for our wedding looking back on it... We might have done it again the same way. Our reception was on the 100ft level of the space needle which was very cool.

Our wedding was about 15K 4 years ago, and we didn't accept any money from family because they were trying to call shots when they put some money in. Danger and I decided to foot the bill ourselves and do it our way. The largest cost for us was the photographer because he was amazing.

It's no cheap endeavor that's for sure. But if it's done right, it's one of the coolest days the two of you will have together. We celebrate our 4th tomorrow, our 3rd was spent unwrapping the 360 on launch day.

yeah right now we are looking at around 25,000-30,000 to me that is just ridiculous. But if it makes her happy, that's all I care about.

My cousin won the "Cleveland Indians Giveaway" this past September so her wedding was paid for, the ceremony took place on home plate, and the reception was held in the terrace club. Dress was paid for, food, tuxes, live band, you name it. Im sure it cost a pretty penny, otherwise they would have hit Vegas for cheap!
