Does anyone know whne online ordering will start?

Does anyone know when the online ordering of the PS3 will start? All the websites say they will send an email when pre-ordering will start. We are less than a week away from launch and I have found nothing yet. If anyone can shed any light on this, it is greatly appreciated.

Most have already finished.

If you're lucky, you could try Amazon.com as the launch gets closer. I know a couple of folks picked up a 360 at launch by luck before they went out of stock.

Welcome Fuze! I haven't heard very much about the pre-orders... then again, I haven't really been looking as my wallet won't let me.

well it seems like a lot of websites haven't even started the online pre-ordering yet. Sites like gamestop.com and walmart.com have online ordering coming soon with a field to put your email address in to receive a newsletter when the online ordering starts.

so with less than a week to go before launch, I am wondering if these stores are going to do online ordering.

I think Walmart.com's is finished. I think it was November 6th.

As for Gamestop.com, they won't offer pre-orders online. Just massive bundles. My guess is well over $1,000.00.

There are news reports about how stores will be getting X amound of them, and when people are allowed to line up outside.
