Ratchet and Clank are back for more destructive capers in Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction. Join the slightly egocentric Ratchet and his ever-proper sidekick as they strive to save the galaxy from annihilation. Search for an ancient device that is capable of stopping the return of the Cragmites. Cragmites are an evil race of interdimensional aliens that have an extreme hated for Lombaxes — and Ratchet happens to be the very last Lombax still alive.

Span the universe in this totally new Ratchet & Clank experience. Choose from an impressive arsenal of weapons that let you unleash destruction in an amazing variety of ways. You'll also meet new characters and explore new worlds during your expeditions. As you make your way from planet to planet, you'll also unravel the mystery behind Ratchet's origins. With gorgeous visuals that have a movie-like quality, the future of Ratchet & Clank is looking bright — if they survive this latest adventure

A great single player experience, plus one of the best looking PS3 games to date. In a land where consoles are filled with endless desaturated first person shooters, it's nice to throw some color in the mix. Highly recommend.

A great game all around. Wonderfully colorful world and an excellent mix of weaponry.

I just fired this up over the weekend after having not played it for along time. Still one of the best looking games this gen. Vivid colors, buttery smooth framerate, excellent animations and very nice particle effects throughout the game. Insomniace really stepped it up a few notches from their launch game Resistance.

R&C is a pretty lengthy journey (probably took me around 15 hours). Lots of variety in the level design with all the different locations. Also there is very little if any back tracking so it isn't artificially long. Some levels and or enemies pay homage to movies like Star Wars, Pirates, etc.

R&C has tons of weapons, I can't think of another game that has nearly as many. Most of them are very enjoyable as well. Almost every weapon is upgradeable and you get to choose which ones. You will not be able to max out one weapon on the first play through which lends to some replayability.

I did find R&C is a bit on the easy side, that is my only real gripe.

I couldn't put this game down until it was complete, and to think I bought it for my 12 year old daughter. This game should be tried by anyone who's ready for a beautiful and fun adventure into the world of R&C.
