Madden League All-Pro vs. Pro Poll
Someone has raised the question of whether or not to change to Pro instead of All-Pro to reduce the ridiculous level of turnovers.
Please play an online game or two on the Pro level and let us know what you think here. If the game's more fun for everyone on Pro, I have no problem with it. But please try it out before you cast your vote.
And don't vote if you aren't in the league. Thanks!

I voted pro but then got to thinking. Since I suck pretty much the worst of anyone playing this year, if we switch it to pro I'm much less likely to ever get a pic on my team!! haha. But seriously, the fumbles and interceptions on all-pro are far too unrealistic for my liking. And if someone is good enough to take over and cause a fumble or personally intercept, more power to them.

I'm torn - so I haven't voted yet...
The fumbles are simply ridiculous on AP, but at the same time, I don't want to go back to the old Madden style of 20 yrd dropback - 80 yrd across the body - while scrambling passes either.
To me those constant, consistent, hail mary-ish passes are more unrealistic than all the turnovers we're seeing on AP.
I'm still waiting for some time where I can play a Pro game online - and see if these typical Madden bombs are in the game at Pro level.

I haven't voted yet either because I haven't had a chance to play on Pro to give it a try. Maybe tonight.
I will say this though-- if you're worried about it being fair, playing two games on AP then switching, consider this: we would do it when everyone had the same number of games under their belt, so that everyone's exposure would be the same. I.E. if we decide to do it, everyone would start the change in calendar Week 3. So if you haven't played week 2 yet, you'd still have to play it in AP so that everyone would have the same risk/exposure to hyperactive cornerbacks.
I just wanted to make that clear to everyone. If we can't do it fairly we won't do it at all.
I'm kinda in the same boat as Lord Sam. I haven't been severely bitten by the turnover bug, so I don't know what to think. Int's are pretty common in the game for sure. I just want everyone to have fun, so I'm up for anything. I don't know about moving UP the level of difficulty as I think it would become almost impossible to move the ball. I kinda hate running the ball anyway, and that seems like it would just be incredibly difficult.
I'll try it all out tonight and post up my impressions.

Running the same play over and over again is against the rules. We're talking PGL members here, not the GP.
