That's right. It's here. The first Halo 3 tournament. Fully designed, sanctioned, and populated by PGL members.

I give you HalO Tournament: Six On Six, from here on out collectively referred to as HOTSOS.

This is a notice. Start forming your teams of EIGHT. While only six will play, having two more ensures that we won't go through the chaos that was the Gears of War Tournament. The format will be decided in coming threads, as will the gametypes.

If you're down, say so, and we'll update this thread with a master list of participants. Rules and other info will be posted by Quo, he's a whiz at Boggle so respect him.

This is going to be a laid back and FUN tournament. There will be no L33T speak, and there will be no crying. First one that cries gets punched by one of the minors because you can't punch them back.

Some people are already taken, so before you make any decisions make sure you check with everyone you want to form a team with.

So there it is, HOTSOS fo' yo' ass. Let the games arduous planning process begin!

RULE OF 3: I want to reiterate... This is a tournament for active PGL'ers. We will allow a few friends of members to play, but you must have AT LEAST 3 active PGLers on your team. Signing up at the site and making a bunch of posts very quickly does not make you an active member. Being an active member takes time. This is a community, so I suggest if you want to play games within this community you make some friends here. Once you've made a good impression, people will trust you and you'll have no shortage of both team tourney and game invites.
