And I'll try to figure out how to accept your friend request. | To accept a friend request (or FR in forum-lingo), push the silver xbox button on the center of your controller while you're online. You'll see a little box on the upper left that says "messages". You probably have several of them. Click the A button once you've highlighted messages. Each one of them will give you the option to accept the friend request.
It's easy, you'll figure it out.

I'll get with you later and fill you in about the friend request if you still need help.

| | On the List | Hey guys, just wanted to introduce myself.... I run a league over in Europe with a couple of other guys and wanted to make contact with some of our brothers on the other side of the Atlantic to discuss something resembling a friendly tournament sometime this year.
It seems like you guys are pretty fair players judging by the rules laid out, we're pretty much the same, try and encourage the game to be played as a 'sim' game so therefore trying to be as much like a real NFL game as possible. So therefore not being a dick and sprinting your QB out to the sideline every time, or going for it on 4th down on every occasion and blitzing the shit out of guys just so that their o line collapses... hope you guys feel the same way about this, and we tend to find that when we play a lot of guys in lobbies (I hate to say they are usually American) they don't play the game like it is meant to be played.
So anyway, will get back to the point... yeah maybe something can be done where we have a friendly tournament of Europeans against Americans at some point... we've all been doing the online thing back to NFL 2k4 and beyond, and we between 3 separate leagues that are run, we have 60 or so pretty good players from France, Netherlands, Germany, Norway, England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, Ireland, Belguim... all over the place.
My gamertag is Magical Mr Rich also if anyone is ever on at the same time as me (maybe when it is quite late for me as I am 5 hours ahead of you East Coaster's)
Greetings from London,
Richard | | |

Yes, it sounds like we're on the same page as far as gameplay. We're not overly strict about rolling out the QB, but I don't know anyone who does it on every play. It'd be great to get together some time for a little USA vs. Europe challenge! Sounds fun. Our talent level (at least last year, not sure about this year yet) is quite modest, so we may get thrashed, but I bet we could put something together.
Hope to see you here or online!

| Very cool ideas Rich! Glad you stopped by and posted here. I think it would be fun to have some friendly matches between us! I'm sure I would get trounced since I've played exactly 2 football games in the last say 4 years! haha. But it would be fun! | |

| I have no idea. I was able to complete a few passes in my 2 games, but my buddy threw 5 pics. Crazy! I think that's the only reason I won. The next game he didn't throw any pics and destroyed me! I was sacked probably too many times to remember. | |

Yeah, the AI players sometimes resemble a Super Hero, in the sense that on Defense they can miraculously jump in front of a pass they have no business even being close to and pick it off.. Your WR's REALLY have to be OPEN! Also, experiment with your Left Stick when you throw. Make sure your QB's feet are set, a good Precision Pass that leads your WR's will cut down on your INT's. It doesn't work all the time, only because most of the time you can't get your QB's feet set and your moving him around with the Left Stick and his passes seem to go awry!
I'd love to see something like this. Quo, maybe we can take our Playoff teams this year, and pit them against their Playoff teams and have kind of a "World Bowl" Tourney. I think it would give us a little more to look forward to by making the Playoffs and a little extra something to play for. Just my 2 cents.
